Question: Are minutes used up when checking voicemail ? Answer: Yes, anytime you place or receive a call from your cellular phone, your minutes are used, this also includes checking your voicemail from your phone (which can be done by pressing *vm or *86 and then the send button). Your voicemail can be checked by using a land line phone which will not use your minutes. All you have to do is dial your cellular phone number and follow the normal procedure. You can check how many minutes you have used since your last bill up to the last 48 hours by dialing #min or #646 and the send button.
Question: How do I set up my voicemail? Answer: Press *86 (*VM) send from your wireless phone. A voice will prompt you to choose and enter in your personal password, which is a four to six digit number that you will be able to remember. After entering in your password you will then follow the prompts to create a personal greeting.
